So Halloween is upon us...

....and no costume for me. I'm not really down with that anymore. I gotta admit though, its cool seeing all those hot girls going around in those nice skimpy costumes. That rules. But then you get some dudes going around dressed up as chicks and whatnot...thats just wrong.

On a totally unrelated topic, my sister took part in shooting for a movie today. The movie is called "These Girls" and stars that Boreanaz guy from "Buffy" and that Muchmusic VJ chick. I think its cool that someone has decided to shoot a movie in New Brunswick let alone that my sister was in it. If it comes to theatre and her scene comes on, I will definitely be the guy that will be like "hey everyone...thats my sister!!!!".....and then I will throw popcorn at the movie screen...it'll be great.

Man did I ever be a sh*tload of groceries today. Its frickin psycho the amount that I bought. The funny thing is that I know they will be gone in a hurry as I like to eat. Its one of my favorite hobbies up there with knitting and racquetball haha

As you can tell, I'm in a really weird mood today. Must be the whole halloween thing. Here is a cool picture of a jack-o-lantern and some monkeys beating it to death or something. Thats what it looks like anyways haha http://download-free-pictures.com/holiday/jack-o-lantern-1.html

Am I ever turning into a gamble-a-holic (is that correct?) or something....I bet on 4 proline tickets today and didnt win on one. Damn NCAA football....in all reality it should be an easy win but its not. Of course, part of that is my girlfriends fault..."take Army...thats a cool name for a team!". Yeah last time I listen to her!

Anyways thats it for now....have a great Halloween and a good Sunday..

What in the world....

...happened last night in that damn baseball game??? That wasn't the way it was supposed to happen! Boston was supposed to go up 3-0 in the series and then they were suppose to collapse like the perverbial sack of bricks that they are and lose the series 4-3 to St Louis. You could not write a better ending than that if you tried. But, I guess thats the way the cookie crumbles. Its funny to think though that generations have come and gone and have not seen the Red Sox win a World Series. Its also funny to know that more generations will come and go and not see the Red Sox win the World Series mwhahahaha.

Anyone see that lunar eclipse last night? That was pretty impressive. Nothing like sitting in front of my big picture window with the lights off, a big bag of popcorn and a glass of water watching the eclipse. Ok I know what your thinking...haha I wasn't alone though. So instead of me being the only loser, my 3 loser roommates were with me lol. Hey its all in good fun though.....was a pretty impressive eclipse. I got out the digital camera and attempted to take some video of the eclipse but that didnt exactly pan out. Speaking of the camera, I did take some funny footage and pictures after the eclipse last night which I might post or post links to eventually.

Anyways I must get back to finishing an essay. Its going to be a weekend of relaxation, playing hockey, possibly catching a movie and a dinner out, and working on another damn essay. I don't know where they keep coming from but they are always there! Oh yeah, and if anyone ever comes on this site and wants to sell me a cheap 128 or 256 mb memory card for my camera, leave your name and number heh.

finally, to quote Peter Griffin..."i'll tell 2 people...and...and they'll tell 2 people....and that...and thats like 10 people right there!" haha don't know why i had that quote on my mind but i did.

Peace out y'all.

Blah

Anybody watching this World Series b.s? Yeah thats what I thought....nobody mwhahahah. Let it be known, I am first and foremost a New York Yankees fan so watching my archnemesis Boston Red Sox play in the World Series isn't my idea of a good time. However, I like to pop in and check it out every couple of innings to see how the CARDS are doing, especially since they have Larry Walker and as we all know, our friend Larry is a
CANADIAN! Anyways, here's to a Game 3 win....GO CARDINALS GO!!

This is probably one of the more boring Tuesdays of my existance. I'm sure that absolutely nothing happened today except that we watched a movie in class about a guy who is married to this woman for 25 years and on their 25th anniversary, he comes out and says that he feels like he is a woman trapped in a man's body and that he wants a sex change. I believe the movie is called Normal haha. We only watched about 45 minutes of it so if anybody knows how it turned out, please let me know. Meanwhile, here is a link to the Internet Movie Database site with info about the movie for anyone who knows absolutely nothing about it. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0338290/ It doesn't sound great but if you watch it, I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Well thats about it for now. I have this damn essay that I must get finished for Friday and I spent way too much time with my girlfriend so far tonight to make any progress on it. So as I said, I'm off to do that. Have a good one and watch for the lunar eclipse tomorrow!! Peace.

I hate Mondays...

VERY MUCH!

I refer to my previous post in saying it would be nice if there were only 3 days in a week instead of 7. Yeah....like that will happen.

So what did I do today? Well I slept through my first class....basically because its a pointless information processing class and we dont do anything. I mean cmon, I'm taking an Education degree...how I am gonna learn to teach kids anything if WE dont do anything. Anyways so yeah I did that.

Second, I went to work. Good hours (basically make my own), good people and good money so I cant complain there. In fact, I think I will sacrifice more of my classes for work heh.

Third, I went back to class and we had an interesting discussion of creation vs. evolution. Yeah, like I'm going to bring that up with MY students. Have the class break out in fistfights and whatnot...on the other hand...hehe. Actually our prof told us that it is good to have controversy in the classroom. Had lots of controversy in our classroom today.

The highlight of the day was in that last class. The students that did their 1 week internships this past week were discussing their experiences and this one guy mentioned his experience. He was in the classroom at a local high school and his supervising teacher had to go out to deal with some kid that was blazed up on weed. So anyways, he decided to play a little game with the kids. He would read a question and whoever got the question right would get a point. However, to make it more interesting, he used different kinds of voices to read the questions and he would award an extra point to whoever got the voice right. He used voices from characters from the Simpsons, Sesame Street and junk like that. We got him to do an impression of Grover off Sesame Street and it was hilarious haha. I should ask him for a sound byte to put on here.

Oh yeah, in honor of the Monkey King story that our prof told us, which seemed to be over everyones head (go figure), I'm posting a link to a good site where you can find monkey pictures. You gotta admit, they are funny to look at. I dare you to look at a picture of a monkey and try to keep a straight face......DARE YOU! http://www.northrup.org/photos/Monkey/

Anyways what is in store for tonight you ask? Well, a night of essay writing seems about right. I was going to go to the Cellar pub on campus to see Joey and Snake from Degrassi tonight....but I have this stupid essay to do. I'm sure I will check out Monday night football as well.

Finally, if anyone wants to listen to a good cd, I bought the new Bowling for Soup cd on Saturday. Its really good, I highly recommend it. Besides the mainstream song "1985", they have an awesome song about Texas and this chick who sleeps with some guy she meets at a bank and then moves to Ohio and how everyone wants her to come back to Texas when shes "done doing what shes doing and who shes doing" haha Great song.

Well time to make some supper.....chicken burgers seems like something that could be good tonight so I think I'll make those. Keep it real everybody.....and if anyone ever reads these, feel free to comment. Later.

Hey...its what I do...

Woohoo my first journal entry. Yeah I guess its not that big of a deal but hey, it is in a way. So anyways yeah, I'm Ryan and this is my blog thingamajigger. I don't have alot of time to write this as I am off to the gym in a few minutes but I will say this, I am kind of hungover haha. Not the puke-your-guts-out hungover but the sit-around-feeling-like-crap-and-listening-to-metallica hungover. I suppose it could be any band but I decided to download some Metallica tunes off their Reload album. Funny..thats what I was in the mood for.

I rented Fahrenheit 9/11 this weekend and watched it last night before going out. That is definitely a trippy movie. I enjoyed it though. As of now, if I were American I think I would be voting for a 3rd party candidate.....wait wouldnt that be Ralph Nader? heh jk

Went out with the girlfriend last night for some beer/nachos/pool and let me tell you I got smashed/full/hit in the face with a cueball. It was good times.

Got a busy week of school/work/schoolwork coming up heh. Damn Mondays....I hate them. Its funny how most people in the world live for the weekend haha I cant say I blame anyone who does. Instead of 7 days of the week there should only be 3. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We could all go to work on Friday knowing that we would not have to the next day

Well thus ends my nonsensical jibberish for the day. To the gym I go....Peace out.
