The Joys of EBAY...
I must admit that I absolutely love ebay. Its a really useful place to get almost anything that you can think of. Over the past year I have bought subway stamps, a t-shirt, beer labels, hockey tickets and other junk. I have also sold those hockey tickets that I bought and made a nice dollar off them. I recently bought a dvd to give to my sister for xmas and some old school American beer labels that I will use to decorate my bedroom door. American beer truly sucks but their labels are really flashy...you would think those two things would cancel each other out...haha Anyways in honor of my recent purchase, I thought that I would write a small blurb to honor ebay for making the lives of us last minute xmas shoppers so much easier. Thank you ebay!
Well I am off to the north for xmas on Saturday. Kind of ironic when you think about it. While most people go south for Christmas, I'm headed north. What a jackass! Seriously though, my folks live 3 hours north of here so I will be spending xmas up there as always. Its always great to get home. Good company, good food, cold beer...you can't ask for anything else. Anyways I will be out of town from Dec 18th-Jan 2nd then its back here to resume schooling/making money. I may post while I am home but I'm sure my time will be occupied by eating/sleeping/playing with the dog/going for walks/watching Canada kick ass in the World Juniors. Yeah...and the World Juniors are in North Dakota...what the hell is up with that! :S
I also thought that I would give a shout out to the city of Washington, DC for, just like everyone else, deciding to turn their backs on those poor (former) Montreal Expos. Why is everything about money nowadays? Man....the Expos couldn't stay in Montreal because they were not making any money. Now their move to Washington may blow up because Washington can't come up with the money to build them a new ballpark, something that was promised in the deal. What the hell happened to the days where people used to play baseball in a hay field with a 2X4 and a rock?? I want those days back!! Anyways, here is a link to a story on this. I just shook my head when I read it..http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news;_ylc=X3oDMTBpNWZic251BF9TAzI1NjY0ODI1BHNlYwN0aA--?slug=ap-expos-washington&prov=ap&type=lgns
Anyways thats it for me! (as George Costanza says...go out on a high note). Later all..
