Good Weekend..

Well this weekend I headed over to Sackville to visit ma soeur. It was good times.....you would think that there isn't much to do in Sackville (and there isnt) but since Moncton is nearby, that makes for good times. We arrived Friday around 7:30 or so and spent much of the evening sitting around. Marleigh's res was having a party so we went out to Mickey Dees to get a bite and then hit the liquor store. The res was serving $1 drinks (cant go wrong there) so that was cool. Unfortunately the party was pretty much a bust so we went to the midnight movie at the towns little (and I stress LITTLE) theatre. The movie was "Darkness". Nobody else seemed to like it but I did.....I dunno....it was a little hard to get the point at times but I got the jist of it. Anyways after the movie we went back to Bennett House and crashed haha

Saturday, we headed into Moncton for a day of "shopping". My buddy Greg met us at the mall so Greg and I basically walked around for an hour while the ladies shopped. I did get Tony Hawks Underground (just the first one, figured I would play that one first before #2). I also got a pair of cargo pants at Bluenotes and a shirt and jeans at Old Navy. Yay for me...haha We picked up a couple of pizzas at Pizza Shack for supper and went back to Gregs, watched Family Guy and ate pizza. That night, we drank a bit around Marleigh's house then headed out to the pub. I didnt realize that it was more like a dance clubs (dance clubs arent sick) and I really hate dancing unless i get a couple of pitchers in me. Anyways that was basically it, I sat around drinking for awhile and around 1:00 I deemed myself drunk enough to dance haha. We (erin and me) took off around 2 am or so and Marleigh got back about half an hour later. We sat around for a bit then crashed.

Today we got up, got Mars some groceries and hit the road for home. Got back around 4:30 and ever since, I've been playing Tony Hawk which leads me to where I am now. I more than likely should have been doing work but I wasnt really in the mood.....as if I'm ever in the mood to do work haha.

Next week I have an observation week in a school. I will find out tomorrow where I am. I will probably be up home which will be cool.....get to go home for a week woo hoo! Of course after that, I come back to about 2 weeks of midterms. Yeah won't THAT be fun....haha

Anyways I really gotta go do some work...that and I'm kinda hungry so...ya know.....

Big Weekend Ahead... :D

...hopefully haha. I'm heading out of town this weekend to the booming metropolis of Sackville, NB. Of course, the good thing about "the sack" is that its close to Moncton and thats a decent city. Anyways yeah, I'm heading over there to visit my sister for the weekend. I'll be staying in her dorm room so that should be fun.....considering I havent lived in res in like 4 years haha. The shitty thing is that its all 18 and 19 yr old ppl that live there. Like wtf....time to rob the cradle I guess haha just kidding ERIN :D Seriously though, Erin is coming too and we are seriously going to feel old around all them young'ns. Guess I'll just have to teach them how to drink haha or learn from them...one or the other haha

So its the Eagles and the Patriots in the Super Bowl. Man I hope the Eagles kick some fucking ass! McNabb deserves it after getting denied in the NFC game for the last kazillion years. I'm really getting tired of turning on the television like 3 days after the game and watching the patriots float down the street on their...floats...haha it fills me with murderous rage! Damn Tom Brady and his boyish good looks.....err....haha

Well I should be gettin to bed.....I'm sure there are things I have to do tomorrow. Im in the process of trying to pawn some of my old crap off on the ebay folk....maybe I'll be able to retire haha. Yeah....retire from what? Good night and God speed......SLAYER RULES MAN!

Yay For Everything

Another snowstorm, another day that we didnt get off school. Gawd I love UNB. Waking up this morning, it was clear that nobody should have been on the roads, except us poor university students apparently. Damn them....luckily enough I made it to class and home again. Didnt go to work because I figured that I might as well forego that pleasure today and stay off the roads.

Found out on Friday that a guy I grew up with was killed working out west in the oil fields. Nobody is exactly sure what happened but one thing is for sure, he died. Kind of a depressing start to the weekend considering I found out at like 8:30 Friday morning.

Jets lost.....thats about all I have to say about that. Dammit I figured they woulda pulled it out.....damn Pittsburgh. A match with New England would have been sweet.

Well other than the massive pile of work that I have and my hockey game tonight, not much else is new. I'll check in near the end of the week to update you all on all my wheelings and dealings.

The end of another weekend..

...and it was a pretty decent one. Hit the movies on Friday night to see "Meet The Fockers". If you haven't seen that yet I strongly suggest that you do. I laughed so much I thought I was going to piss myself. It has a pretty good storyline to it complete with the crazy antics of Ben Stiller. You gotta love this guy....not only does he look funny, he acts funny too. He's just an all around funny guy. Great movie though....definite A+.

Last night we had an intramural hockey game which we lost 13-3....how effin pathetic is THAT? I played like crap...I'll admit it....it was a Saturday night and nobody really seemed to care. That combined with lack of sleep from the night before surely contributed to my shitty performance. We'll get em next week though!

After that, Erin and I hit the Lunar Rogue pub for some drinks with a few friends. An interesting evening to say the least. One of my buddies from the Education faculty is from France so we learned alot about French culture and about cross country skiing, which I have decided is really really difficult and I think I'll stick to snowboarding....not that I'm any better at that. I can fake it though....chicks really dig guys who think they can snowboard...apparently...

I wasn't around much this week so I didnt get a chance to give props to Team Canada for their ass-pounding of the pansy Russians. Crosby, Bergeron, Carter....this team had it all and it was an awesome performance by them. Hopefully they can repeat next year in Vancouver and maybe this time, we'll have some actual competition. Who knows? haha I would love to get out to Vancouver to catch that but I'm sure the $$$ will be the deciding factor in that.

Finally, how about them NY Jets. Man I was at the pub last night, starting into my first beer of the evening around 9:30 and the game was on the tube.....Jets were down 7-0 at that point and I figured it was over. Late in the game, it so happens that the Jets were up 17-10.....great passing by Pennington and decent defense, until the Chargers got the TD late in the game to tie it. Meanwhile I'm thinking "oh great....another one of my fabled teams will choke...so what else is new". And then, with minutes to go in OT, who comes up with the amazing field goal but Mr. Doug Brien. Anyways, you gotta give props to these guys for the big win and hopefully we will take it into Pittsburgh next week with the same energy and gut as we did in San Diego.

Happy New Year - Back At 'Er

Well I can't say I am happy to be back doing the school thing after two weeks of doing nothing, but hey, thats life. It was a pretty decent two weeks but I gotta admit, they were wayyyy too short. I mean c'mon, whats the deal with time? Nowadays, two weeks feels like about 3 days for me. I hate this.

I did have an awesome time New Years Eve. I got super drunk and hung out with alot of good people so it was allllll good. I don't remember alot but I remember making a video, watching Napoleon Dynamite and that somebody fucked up the water at Josh's so it wouldnt work. Alcohol Consumption + No Water = VERY BAD haha. All in all, it was a pretty good time. Everyone was pretty wasted. My girlfriend cheated by continuously making drinks that contained no alcohol, yet nobody else knew that. Of course, its not like she acted drunk so I don't really know if thats cheating or not. Anyways.....

Well its late and I don't have alot more to say right now....I'm sure I will have more to say in the next few days on the New Yrs Eve fiasco as it all comes back to me haha. Happy New Year everyone and have a great week.
