Wake Me Up When November Ends

Well thats about how I can describe this month. Lots of school work to do, lots of actual work to do.....blahhh!! On the upside, the trip to Boston (Nov 4th-6th) was a blast. Great city, great hockey game....not much more you can ask.

We got there Friday at about 2:00 EST and finally found the hotel after a bit of cruising around aimlessly. We stayed over by Harvard University which was pretty kewl. We made a trek to the almighty liquor store (like probably the first thing we did hah) and then got ready to head out exploring. Of course, walking down Storrow Drive heading towards downtown, and having the sidewalk run out on you so you have to run across 4 lanes of traffic is always fun! Well we got into downtown Boston finally by crossing along a walking bridge into Boston University's campus and then, we were pretty much set. We walked a bit a got hungry, so we stopped at a Thai restaurant to eat. Never had Thai food before but it was decent. After that, we walked some more, stopping into this awesome music store where they had literally 5oo different guitars....man if i had money! *drools* The instruments in there were amazing. We also made our way towards Fenway Park and got some pix. Later, we headed back to the hotel, chilled for a bit, had some drinks then crashed.

Saturday was much of the same. We got acquainted with the Subway which made getting around a little easier. We went into downtown and did some more walking around while checking out the Cheers bar, Boston Common, and taking a walk by the TD Banknorth Garden where the Bruins play. We also took a walk down towards that big statue of Paul Revere. Man if I could ever get some pix on here hehe. Anyways, we headed back to the hotel around 3:30, chilled til 5:30 or so then headed back into town to see the Penguins play the Bruins. Man the Bruins murdered the Pens 6-3. Good game all and all, minus the dudes sitting in our row that kept fucking leaving to get beer. Yeah they are really strict on that 2-beer maximum per person. Anyways, all and all great game. After the game, we headed down to the bar district and went to Hooters. That place was pretty awesome. The waitresses were hot and the wings were awesome, not to mention the beer was cold so not much more you could ask from that.

Sunday, we went home. The downer of the trip was stopping in Portland, Maine and getting lost for like 40 minutes. The Maine Mall is pretty kewl, if you've never been there.

Well that was essentially the Boston trip. Unfortunately, now its back to reality. This weekend was pretty kewl though. Hit the club Thursday night, pretty much chilled Friday and did some cleaning and went to see "Get Rich or Die Tryin"....pretty good movie bout 50 Cent's life. Other than that not much else. And now I have class to get to :S

Ciao!!
